The Electronic Font Foundry fonts for Closed Captioning

Closed Captioning allows text (normally transitted as audio signal) to be also displayed overlayed on video. It is often used for subtitling or providing some other information most suitably displayed as lines of text on TV screen.

These fonts can be licenced by developers as they are or, if required, their specification can be modified to developers requirements.

The seven fonts with samples below have been disigned according to the EIA 708-B standard specification:
