EFF Cadet Cyrillic (2 fonts)Cyrillic fonts are made for a very large number of languages since most languages in the former Soviet Union were "given" a Cyrillic alphabet if they did not have a well established method of writing.
They are divided into the following main groups:Our Asian Cyrillic alphabet caters for most of the last four groups of languages. There are also some special alphabets:
- Slavonic - the so called standard Cyrillic
- Uralic Cyrillic
- Caucasian
- Altaic
- Iranian
- Church Cyrillic - old Cyrillic alphabet used in medieval writings
- School Cyrillic - Russian Accented fonts used for teaching children to read
- Russian joined-writing as used in Russian primary schools.
